Niko's Story
I rode the same electric scooter for four years as an undergrad at MIT, and along the way I fixed every problem it threw at me. In the summer of 2025, I decided to see if I could get paid repairing scooters for others — starting out of my driveway. When it worked, I realized I could help other people like me earn money through their skills, while also giving riders access to faster, more affordable repairs by making a network of micro-mobility mechanics. With funding from the MIT Sandbox program and a lot of work, Niko was born.
